I followed you because I've known you online since the Airsick Moth days. I am just realizing I don't understand how apps work as I just found your question 142 days late.

Thanks for your poorly spelled question. If you get the chance stop by Intervention this weekend in Rockville, MD and pick up a copy of the book or use the website to purchase one.

I only block spam and people I deem to be dangerously insane. Regular insane I can deal with, but not "make me double check the locks insane". I can only assume that if you have been previously blocked it's because you're batshit crazy.

I named myself after the greatest golfer of all time, Ben Hogan.

"Dude, seriously, this comics on the web thing is going to be HUGE, get in on that action NOW!"

Mine. I hear they are a blast but I've never made it onto the "Cool People" Guest List. I'm hoping to make it to the next one.

I have nothing against them, if this is in response to my question to PvP & the Penny Arcade guys. I was just unclear if it was a stylistic choice or if it had a meaning I was missing like some things in Anime have. Like how in Anime that a snot bubble means the person is sleeping or blood coming out of their nose means they're in love/lust. To me, in American comics, pink noses usually read as the person being a drunk (Ted Kennedy, Santa, etc.) or cold.

Soon-Yi hasn't really been in the news a lot lately and I' like to try to keep my comic a little more topical than Woody Allen jokes. Thanks for writing in.

Wow, and you still haven't learned to spell? Thanks for checking out the comic. I hope you gave me an up-vote while you were on reddit. That helps a lot.

As for drawing and writing, thank you for stopping by and offering such constructive criticism. I appreciate the advise and look forward to you stopping by and reading the comic again someday.

I gotta chime in with my 2¢.

First I'm assuming robotic cylons as the fleshy toasters are worthless in this fight.

Clone Troopers are wiped out almost immediately as their armor is worthless against the weapons of the others and past performance has shown them not being able to shoot straight. Plus, Clone Troopers are the forerunners of Storm Troopers who, as we recall, were defeated by a tribe of teddy bears with spears.

Klingons would fall next. While they are honorable warriors and never surrender, they are still fleshy and would fall victim to the Dalek firepower almost immediately. This is not counting the severe losses they would take while wiping out the Clone Troopers.

Now it's Daleks vs. Cylons. Oddly, the old school Cylons would stand a better chance due to having blaster technology vice fancy machine guns. But the combination of Dalek disintegrator beams and shields would prove too much. Actually I don't see the Daleks taking any casualties until this point. Perhaps a few would fall to the Klingons or Clone Troops due to the blasters, but I suspect their shields would be more than adequate.

Now if the Borg were to arrive just as this was coming to a close with a Dalek victory, now you would have a fight worth watching. Until the Daleks won that one too.

While I love drawing uninterrupted and I love coffee under any circumstance, I gotta go with the sleep as long as it's guilt free not taking away from other people sleep. I've had small children in my house, or jobs with insane working hours since the mid-90s. I am not a morning person. Unless you stretch the definition of morning with breakfast being sometime between 10:00-11:30 AM.

It's safe to say a large portion of my wanting to draw comics for a living comes from a life long love of (or desire of) sleeping-in. I'll give you a 12 hour work day, just don't start it before 9 or 10.

If you're talking comic books, Neal Adams is first and I guess Bill Finger would be second. Which is a shame as he was always second fiddle to so many in the Golden Age. He was a major influence in the creation of several major DC heroes and villains and never got the credit for it.

If you're talking comic strips obviously Schulz tops the list but second is a toughy. George Herriman was a huge influence when I was very young. Berk Breathed and Bloom County taught me politics could be funny. Watterson made me feel good while it lasted. But all time second place? I'm going to go with Herriman just because I've been reading his stuff the longest and it seems to always be my fall back when I look for inspiration. Plus, I can only dream of people still reading and discussing my work 66 years after I'm gone.

dinner at a nice bistro with a sidewalk cafe. halfway through I buy a flower from an old lady walking by selling flowers. after dinner we walk and talk until we get to this little coffee shop. we stop in and chat over lattes for a while. When it's time to go we walk back to our cars knowing we'll never see each other again, but also knowing we'll never find a better match. Sadly both our standards are too high. She's looking for someone who makes more money and drives a better car, and I am looking for someone who doesn't talk so damned much.

Actually there have been a few female appearances in the comic in the early days. For the most part it is due to me not being happy with my ability (or lack thereof) to draw women. I'm working on it and hope to fix this problem in the future.

I didn't. As a matter of fact there will be more new comics this week. I had to take some time off for family duties, yard work, and oh yeah, working on the first Reality Amuck book.
