For second shooters at weddings do they normally get paid for being the second shooter? Also if clients choose images that are shot by the second shooter do the pay seperatey for those images or how does this normally work.
I have never paid a second shooter. Usually it is my husband who 2nd shoots with me. I also have mentored a few local photographers who will 2nd shoot with me for experience. But I would pay one if I needed to. And no, the 2nd shooter would not get money for the shots that the client ordered. All of them will go on my online ordering. I do allow the photographers to blog them and use the pictures on their website though.
