((Depends if - and I don't mean godmodding or in-game powers - the character lives up to that. And if they are extremely powerful, I tend to use them only as a plot element. I like to have my characters with weaknesses. I have a character, actually, which I only use as a plot element because he's so intensely powerful - he's a mutant, and whatever he says happens, happened or will happen. He says you never existed, you're wiped from all of time and space. So yeah, I never use him as a main character. In fact, whoever reads this, if you want to use him to explain it when a character spontaneously disappears, as in gets deleted, feel free. He's just a mysterious guy in the corner whose motives are completely unknown. If he does in fact erase something or change history, or destine something to happen, I make sure to ask people involved first. Godmodding people who claim that they're omegapowerfullolz though, they're another matter. You give me no ability to avoid and/or deflect, and you have no good reason for such things, and I'm not going to take you seriously.))

((Depends. The thing is, there's always a community that your character's not a part of. Some characters could be famous as a CEO of a company, but that company may not be particularly famous to PC characters because, say, it's a plumbing company that's famous among plumbers for being among the best and most reliable.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, they could be claiming that the hero is very famous, and the hero community is one that a laaarge percentage of players are in. That's more a problem for the player though, because their image of their character being famous won't be realized when nobody recognizes him/her in the D. Unless they put it into their info, which could help them get a few people starting conversation with them, in the same way as if they said that they had a bounty on their head from the Syndicate or something.

Tl;dr I basically don't have a problem with it. It won't hurt me, but it might not satisfy the player unless they're someone like Ascendant or another such famous RPer.))

Suggest Omega slot or something as a mega-customizable power. Eg. Choose animation, power effects (Fire effects, radiation, etc) and colors, what the power does (damage, healing or some sort of drain), what the secondary effect is (slow, -def, DoT, target-based AoE, etc), the range (snipe, PBAoE, cone, melee or ranged) I would love it if they did something like that so much.))
