in the avengers vs the hood infiniti gauntlet story from last year whose idea was it for wolverine to not wear a coat in the arctic?
Wolverine's. Cap told him to take a jacket, but then he got all prideful and was like, "I'm not gonna take a jacket just 'cause some flag-wearin' soldier-boy tells me to take a jacket! I'm Canadian!" And then he was really cold.

'Sure, just pretend their old-time Editor's Notes and ignore or overlook them as you would have done there'. Good point, liked the old Editor's notes, so maybe I'll treat the app-logo's as modern versions of those. Grr, kids and their new fangled tech.
That's how I came to terms with them. Now I don't even really notice them anymore.

Why do you think artists are slower now than they were in the past?
I think it's a combination of a couple of things: they're paid better, so there's not as much a need to pound out pages to make the rent; the audience is much less tolerant of any dip in quality; and just about every job will now be collected in at least one "permanent" book edition. There are no throwaway jobs anymore.

So Odin can draw nearly even with Galactus, but Odin-Destroyer can't handle a single Celestial. Meanwhile Galactus can handle several Celestials simultaneously (unless they merge). So... uh... what? Do you guys even care anymore? I miss Gruenwald.
Galactus' power levels are variable, though, depending on when he last fed, and on what. And an issue or two ago he specifically indicated that he'd polished off a number of worlds in preparation for this conflict.

do you know if the original hulk will appear in AvX or not? thanks in advance, and keep up the awesome work!
Alas, I'm going to follow Tom Brevort's lead, and Wait-and-see this kind of thing. Sorry!

In all seriousness, it seems like a lot of what you do here is damage control specifically designed to lower fans' enthusiasm for their favorite characters. It strikes me as . . . odd? that you would want to do that, and yet you do.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't see it that way at all. What I try to do here is to be open to communications, and to answer the questions that are poised honestly. Now, there are always going to be people who don't like the answers I give, but that doesn't mean that I should lie to them--I'm going to give you the truth as I see it. There are plenty of misconceptions about the way we do things, and every reader has the stuff he likes and the stuff he hates. But I can't be answering these questions, especially given that they're anonymous, trying to factor in every single reader's particular bias. And, of course, absolutely nobody is obligated to come here and follow this page. I assume that the folks that do do so because they're interested, they have questions they want answered, or they're entertained by it all. If anybody doesn't like it, it's perfectly reasonable to stop reading.

It's the height of conceit and arrogance when you can't simply admit that you are wrong. Stan Lee himself (Thor's creator), and Walt Simonson (generally regarded as the best Thor writer), among dozen others, have written Thor being able to summon Mjolnir.
It's clear to me from the one or two people bombarding this Formspring with angry retorts to the Hammer question that there's some conversation going on somewhere else--a battle board or elsewhere--and that some people are very unhappy that I've come down on a side other than their own. But life's too short for me to dice with you about this, especially when I don't really have a dog in this fight.
In answer to your general statement above, what I would say is that everybody, every creator, can make mistakes. As a good example, towards the end of their run on the series, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby did a multi-issue story in which Loki makes off with Thor's hammer by simply picking it up and carrying it off. Towards the end of the sequence, realizing the mistake, Stan threw in a half-hearted line about Loki using a spell to be able to do this. So does this mean that Loki, or anybody else, should be able to pick Thor's hammer up willy-nilly, if they use "a spell?" No! It means that a mistake was made. Same kind of thing happens with Spider-Man's spider-sense relatively regularly. These stories are produced by human beings, who make mistakes on occasion. I don't know that there's ever been a Marvel comic published in our entire history without at least one of what Stan used to call "boneheaded mistake" in it.
Sometime, a mistake may happen with such regularity that it actually changes the parameters of things, but that's a relatively rare occurrence, as it should be. Typically, these things are the way they are for a reason, usually relating to creating complications for the heroes and engendering good drama. Making everything easy for the heroes isn't really in the best interests of the stories or the comics.
And in the case of Thor's hammer being summoned, these mistakes typically happened with far greater regularity in periods when Thor didn't have a human identity, and therefore didn't have to worry about turning back into Don Blake or Eric Masterson or Jake Olson after a minute--so the need to not completely obliterate that complication wasn't at the forefront of anybody's mind.
All right, I'm done on this topic. Move along, nothing more to see here. -
i get bullied. did you get bullied? whats your advice? i used to cut myself and stick my finger down my throat and make myself throw up because people call me fat and i think im a terrible person.:(
No, you are not a terrible person. If I have learned anything from bullies, it's that they can only hurt you if you let them. Don't punish yourself because of somebody else's insecurity and ignorance. You are beautiful no matter what anybody says.
