I'm sorry, I get this kind of thing a lot due to my fame and fortune, but I must turn you down. Sadly, I decline your request for true love and devotion because I currently have a girlfriend whom I love dearly, and to whom I cannot betray for a person with a seeming silhouette of a man and who has the grammatical know-how of a pained mule.
Fare thee well, O lovelorn spambot,

I would like to create a very in-depth platformer game with an interesting storyline and genuinely fun and dynamic gameplay. Sounds like anything a game developer would say, but I really want to also make it involve the player to the degree where they feel almost inside the game. When I was young(er), I remember playing games that really made me a part of the world and I would love to put something like that into one of my games. I'm not a fan of 3D games, so I'd make it 2D and I'd want it to be very atmospheric, like Knytt Stories but with more variability in gameplay and more intensive and difficult situations rather than straight exploration. Also, I'd like the game to lie on a simple premise but also have large and option options for the gameplay. In this way it would be similar to Portal, which lies on the simple premise that you have a gravity gun, but there are a lot of things that the player is able to do from there. Uniqueness, as always, would be a huge part of my game, and along with the enveloping nature I always try to implement into my games (although usually failing) I hope it would make an enjoyable and fun experience for all players.

I thought it was a good choice as well ;) I have played only 3 GM games all the way through without stopping in years of play, and that was certainly one of them.
Oh yes, this unrelated note... I do enjoy listening to certain kinds of video game music, but it has to be pretty specific. There's one song that a person on the YYG forums posted as a demo of his first piece, and I've been cycling it through my iTunes like crazy lately! In general, though, I usually end up listening to iTunes top 10 music in my free time rather than video game music, yet I really enjoy certain pieces. -
Sure did! I used Adam Atomic's "Trashpaint" program to draw it up. It took about two hours, but I really like it all the same :) Here's a link, if you're interested: http://adamatomic.com/trashpaint/

Oh my, it tripped over! Gosh, I never saw this coming when I released it... Thus some shoddy work that needed to be patched up with an earlier update. I only hope my next game has similar success!

Really? The two lists I've looked at, it has been 54 and 55. Although, that would explain the lack of open usernames...

Oh man, I must say that Assassin Blue is truly my favorite GM game. It really inspired me to do a lot of work with platformers and got me excited about the genre and the potential for a really fun game with Game Maker. The Power was similar in this respect as well, being another of my favorite GM games. The last two I can think of at the moment are Frozzd and Leviathan, which I both really enjoyed. I actually made a game similar to Leviathan a while back called "Theopathy" that I never finished. Here's a screenshot of it: http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x239/drizzt8/deathworm1.png

The plays on Quietus as of late have been rapidly declining, and so I don't expect to be getting very much money next month, but as of 5 hours ago I have made $28.00. Hopefully I'll have $35.00 so I can pay for my girlfriend's prom ticket and pretend like this hobby is productive!

Well so far I've started up my third game in Flash over the past (almost) 3 months, and I'm having no difficulties. I'm thinking this is due to my experience to Game Maker that made this so easy, so I think that Game Maker is a better place to start, and once you have a good hold of that, you can move on to Flash pretty easily (FlashPunk is suprisingly similar to Game Maker, actually, which is what made the transition so painless).

My priority list is "Time," "TimeBlog," and "Timing" in that order. "Time" and "TimeBlog" were both taken on here, so I had to use Timing, and I always try to get Time when I can, but it doesn't always happen on large sites. I'm thinking it's because Time is too popular a word...

Perfect guess! I actually corrected my friends with that name when they asked about my "octopus."
