Do everything within your power to create a schedule and stick to it. To make it work, you always need to have something to look forward to, whether it's a visit, a vacation or just a phone call.

If it gets serious, then the final step is making sure that you have an agreed upon end goal in mind...which means that someone has to eventually make a move. You can't be long distance forever.
