Interesting question! I'm sure you can tell quite a bit, like age - translucent, bony, veiny, non-elastic skin can be associated with an elderly person's hands; the opposite for a younger person.

Gargle warm salt water; take a teaspoon of honey; I've heard hot water and cinnamon help though it really doesn't taste good! Buckley's sore throat cough syrup works good too :)

I love swimming, but I'd say that I'm only a "fair" swimmer. Definitely couldn't come close to competing with an Olympic swimmer! lol

My youngest kid running around naked stopping every once in awhile to wiggle her bum while chanting "stinky bum, stinky bum"... come on you'd laugh too and you know it!!
