Not education, but the desire to overcome it. Usually in my experience, in what I've seen, that takes form as a person that said... bigot, loves or is endeared to, take for example this recent viral video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eH5egFXHJnQ

Complacency. It seems to be the only thing that allows for fundamentalists and traditionalists to let go of their insane beliefs long enough to allow for change, but at the same time, it is the character trait that has led our people into economic collapse, loss of personal freedom, and only more to come.

Oh that's a toughie... to answer publicly :D

No I'm kidding, really, I have not, but to get into whether or not it was because of social constraints or personal disgust is hard, I mean who's to say the personal disgust doesn't come from social constraints?

This may sound corny, but aside from smoking pot constantly like cigarettes, I would try to be really proactive, make a dent in society, change things for the better, etc etc.
