I am a very short person, and I loveeee long dresses. You can go to a dry-cleaner to have it hemmed, or do as I do and take a pair of scissors to anything you don't like about it. Its a scary thought to cop up a new frock, but with jersey-t shirt type material its generally pretty safe. You will want to order it just a touch looser than the model is wearing it, as Edith Head said, “Your dresses should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady.” . Layer with a slim knit cardigan, some vintage heels, and maybe a nice rosey-colored nail polish, and you've got something super cute and fabulous!

I always do, very vividly, and write them down, just in case some-day I want to make short stories out of them. ~Wicked

Fall! Its cool enough to sleep under several fluffy blankets at night, and warm enough to go for walks & picnics in the day! (Also we can never resist the scent of burning leaves or the lovely decorations during harvest time!)

The very very first was a long time ago, and I don't remember it. So I will answer it with my first real adult experience with it. 2 years go my boyfriend's sister died. They had found breast cancer when she was just pregnant with my niece. They didn't treat it aggressively at first, so that she could have a healthy baby girl. By the time the baby was born, they went highly aggressive with the treatments. She fought like a Lion, and never faltered in her confidence that the treatments would work for her. They didn't. Three years after she was diagnosed, she passed away after a 2 week stint in hospice. I will never forget that feeling of general helplessness. Nor the strangeness of the funeral, or what its like to have someone you really love not there anymore. Time has healed my crying all the time, but this is the 2nd year without her. I see her in her daughter, and sometimes that makes me tear up. I think you always miss them, but somehow just learn to muddle on.

Email, which oft leads me to Face Book, followed by Twitter. All are just climbing through the social waters to keep up minor interactions before I can run to Tumblr and love it long time.
