Do you happen to know when the parking lot for the convention opens? They didn't sell the online permits for every parking space, right...?
Usually the parking structure at the convention center opens 1-2 hours before events begin for the day (so around 8 AM). I have posted the question to @SDCCPark on Twitter to get an official answer, however. Stay tuned.
