We don't have personal quarters on the Flotilla. Every family has a shared space they sleep in... and not all at the same time. We wouldn't fit otherwise. The space is small, but we do decorate it, as well as hang a curtain over the entrance for some small bit of privacy. I can't imagine living somewhere that would give you your own room. I mean, Shepard's cabin alone could house twenty of my people!
