That's fine, it's a pretty easy mistake to make but something I see a lot! Like when I link to a comic I like, people wanna make sure to stress they prefer my comic? Why don't they just like the comic, it's just a really backhanded compliment to comics I want to happily promote.

Please don't compliment comics by putting down others. I appreciate you like BCB, but I don't want you to backhand another comic to express it. Especially one that I really adore and am very nostalgic about.

Mike and Lucy drama tends to get people the most fired up, and that was a climax that has been building for a while. But comments always vary! There is more of a downward trend in 2013 (like, pages that would have normally got 600 get 300) mainly due to changes in the way the comments are shown — we no longer show them on the front page, and it's less obvious how to leave them. It's OK, though! That was intentional.

We didn't have a comments section since the beginning. The comic truly started in 2009 with the website design you know now, but there weren't comics when the site existed in 2007.

People would actively have to run back pages and pages and comment, but easier to comment on update.
