Oh boy, am I into anime? Hahaha, I think my art kind of speaks that I'm influenced by the anime style (though I try to add my own influence and self into it so it's not cookie cutter obviously.) I actually don't watch anime for the sake OF anime, I watch them when they are good and actually worth watching. I also like really off-the-wall ones.
Some of my absolute favorites have to be pretty much all the Studio Ghibli films, Ranma 1/2, Full Metal Panic, Soul Eater, Lupin the 3rd, Ronin Warriors, Sailor Moon, B Gata H Kei, Princess Jellyfish, Kodocha, and Ouran High School.
Some new ones I really enjoyed were No. 6, B Gata H Kei, Samurai Harem, Midori Days, Tiger and Bunny, La Corda d'Oro, and Princess Jellyfish. -

I can't think off the top of my head to be honest.

Mmm, to become a better person, a better friend, do a lot more art and get closer to my dream.

I get a ton of messages each day so I do have to check my DA daily just for that, however the only thing I will delete without looking at is art that doesn't quite strike me and if the journals don't pertain to me or don't look interesting. Comments, notes, favs, and watches I save, however I can't thank everyone anymore for the favs but I still thank people for the watches. I save notes until I can give a proper response, the same with comments if they are questions or require a response.

Yes, actually, I do this quite often. I listen to such a large array of music that I find songs with lyrics or beats that fit different characters of mine. So when I am working on a certain character I will compile those songs together to keep myself in the flow so to speak. As for original songs, I have done those as well too.

Anything that is good actually and it doesn't have to be anime/manga for me to like it. A good example is I have a lot of love for the Disney 2D and Dreamworks 2D films. As long as the art/story is captivating I will pick it up. Recent loves that do not fall in anime/manga is Sky Doll. The art is beautiful and the story is really good!

I try not to put myself in my OCs, that's a common mistake when people write or design. I also try to make each one different because every real person is different as well, so i try not to use the same traits. I suppose the personality traits I like most are honesty, integrity, a sense of justice and pride, and the ability to change/learn/adapt, to grow with a situtation when it arises. A character shouldn't come so easily into the last one or else there wouldn't be much of a story but I think its good to portray characters who people can relate or aspire to.
I guess a good thing would be to make an example, when I was younger I was introduced to Utena; Utena's sense of morality and ethics, of justice, her pride, her honesty and integrity really spoke to me and because I was younger, I wanted to emulate those things about her that made her the hero she was. I want to live my live honest and with integrity and dignity and I would fight for what I beleive in whole-heartedly.
Of course, characters need bad traits and habits as well in order to make them appealing, I think for favorite bad traits I like over-stubborness, but I also like the clever trickery and cockiness that a good villian would portray. -
I believe Canada does have a battle ship and though some Canadians are even surprised, in reality, every country has some form of defense and Canada IS a rather large land mass with potential for whoever might want to be mean to it (although that means picking a fight with us too so I doubt that will happen).

No, actually I don't and this is quite honest. I don't understand the point of acting different than oneself, people will either like you for who you are or they won't and those who don't, well, c'est la vie. Admittingly I can probably sound a little more eloquent via the computer because I can write better but what you see/read is what you get. I want people to be honest about who they are to me so I give the same back and when I find that people don't, then I ignore them.

Variety, I listen to whatever has good lyrics and a good beat so my musical choices range from Opera (like Carmen or Lucia di Lammermoor) to Classical to Classical Rock to Pop to Techno/Dance to foriegn modern or traditional. I do listen to J-pop but I also listen to music from many other countries and you'd be surprised how many foreign bands are internationally popular and speak English in most of their music.
Its also because music is an inspiration to me when drawing and can set my mood, so I like to have that variety. -
All. the. time. I really do, there are older pieces I like but really, I can look at recent stuff that I've just drawn and start picking out every anatomy flaw or something I didn't like, that's me. However, I try not to be so detail-obssessed or else I wouldn't finish anything and not everything has to be perfect in reality. I just store it in my mind for future knowledge. I actually have very few pieces of mine that I truly, truly like but I draw not only for my own happiness and fufillment but to entertain others so I have to keep in mind what I might not like, others might.

Yes, I was introduced to it by my Australian friend Cat and I used to draw with my friends from Tegaki on there for fun, however I haven't been on there in a quite a while. Its a fun site to have fun with your friends but its more like a network oekaki paint chat, for a paint chat with more options I really like Niko's paintchat, I've been a member there for years.

I've had two forms of this actually:
The first one being the type of people that go U SUK!!!11 and having no explaination or reason why. I ignore them, in a sense, I don't expect everyone to like my work and I know everyone won't, since preferences differ from person to person however if you can't be polite or respectful about it, I don't pay much mind.
The second form is people who are polite and I respect their opinion if they don't like something particular about my work; mainly its style, some people don't like anime-esque style and that's fine, after all there are some styles I don't like as well. If someone doesn't like a certain thing, if they are polite about it and explain to me why I listen, I then choose to accept said advice or not but rest assure their opinion will be listened to.
So yes, I have in both senses but that's fine, like I said, my artwork won't appeal to everyone and I don't expect it to, to the ones it does and that enjoy it, I am grateful and am glad that they do. -

Feet and toes, seriously, I always have to redraw them over until they look right to me. I even do practice sketches to try to make it easier.
