If I had a crop camera than I would definitely stick with 17-55 2.8 IS - it's my to-go-to lens, extremely sharp and versatile. For full frame it would have to be 50 1.2L.

So sorry I am latae responding to this...first of all I had to think about his question, second of all life has been a bit crazy in the past few days...My motto in life is Be Kind to People Around You, Enjoy the Little Moments and Love UNconditionally.

And you asked this question anonymously why??:)

Borszh (is that how you spell it?? not sure..:))..It's a Russian/Ukranian traditional soup, that's where you put potatoes, carrots, cabbage, beets together, cook it and then put a table spoon of sour cream on top...yummy yummy!

Flats. I'm 5.9 so I don't "need" heels really. But the main thing is I'm not comfortable on them - I honestly tried wearing heels - can't do it. Heels almost ruined my wedding day...lol :) It was like the first time I wore heels and by the end of the day my feet were falling off, thank goodness my hubby was there to support me (and by that I mean supporting my body weight as I was leaning against him)..:) I do wear heels once in a while but not for long periods of time.

Comfy and stylish all the way! :) I want to make sure I'm not getting blisters from running around..lol :)) And that my clothes fits perfectly, so I am not afraid to raise my arm and hear a rip.:))

I've always LOVED taking photos, we had a darl room at our house and my dad would even sometimes let me help him develop film..:) I kept borrowing cameras from my parents because I couldn't afford to buy one (all of them were Canons btw :)). Then I got a Canon S5IS in 2007 for our trip to BC, and absolutely loved that little guy! but thought that something was missing - I wanted complete control over my camera. I shot with it here and there, even did my first paid family session with my trusty P&S...And then next year my coworker asked me to shoot her wedding (isn't that how everyone starts out?:). I was really debating it as I had no experience in shooting weddings, but she promised to buy me extra batteries for the flash and the camera and I said yes.:) By that time I had purchased a Canon 40D which I still dearly love even though it's my backup camera now. From then on I started getting requests from people from work, booking family sessions. Last year I upgraded my camera to 7D, bought 2 wondeful lenses - 70-200 2.8 IS and 17-55 2.8 IS and strive to get better and better every day. I love creating small photo projects for myself or even join a agroup of people that work on the same project...fun times!:) Oh and I talk tooooo much!:))))

I shoot with a Canon 7D and 40D, I love them both. 7D is very responsive, it's autofocus is amazing and the ISO performance is really what sold this camera to me. Last wedding I second shot I was shooting at ISO4000-6400 and still got very decent shots of the ceremony. Ah-mazing!!:)It's a crop sensor camera but my lenses perfectly match it - I love my combo of Canon 17-55 2.8 IS and 70-200 USM 2.8 IS! The controls are also very customizable which is great. I'm yet to discover the video capabilities to their fullest but what I was able to shoot so far of my family is great, the camera may have trouble autofocusing for a video in low light though, just so you know.
