Silent Hill games. I never enjoy playing them, mostly because I can't get the controls ever, but I love the setting and the stories themselves... well not all of them, but some of them.

Serenity. I like A.I. though others did not. Sci Fi isn't too much my thing honestly. Not that I don't like it, I just generally don't watch it or read it. As I've gotten older, things that are defined by genre generally don't interest me as much anymore. Something that is definitely high fantasy or science fiction aren't as interesting to me as the works that have those elements in it without being defined by the genre.

I don't read much sci fi anymore. Philip K Dick and Vonnegut are winners to me. Also Gaiman, though I don't think he really writes in science fiction... I think he's more magial realism, though you'll find his books in the sci-fi/fantasy sections. Heinlin of course and Assimov.
