How do you draw on your eyebrows to look so natural?
I am going to give you a basic rundown of what I do, but honestly, I need to do a video to really show it. I am going to put one together soon and post it in my blog on Squeakmachine.com. But for now:
- Pick an appropriate color: black is not the only color you can draw your brows with. In fact, I have never used it. If your hair color is black or close to it, by all means, break out the black pencil. But if you are blonde, light pink, or any shade of light hair like me...try using brown, blonde, or colored (pink, blue, etc..) pencils. It looks much less severe and blends in so much better with lighter hair.
- Start thick, end thin- Don't just do a pencil thin line all the way across. Start above the tear duct of your eye and start to thin out the shape as you approach your arch. After the arch, draw a thin line out and over (and end it above the outside corner of the eye or just a little bit past it).
- Don't use just one motion- If you are finishing your brows in one sweep across without ever lifting your pencil, they are not going to look natural. I draw a basic shape and use tiny little touches with my pencil to color in the area.
That is all I can really explain via text. I will get crackin' on that video for you!
