Answering why I like inflation is almost like asking any gay guy why they like men! However, I'll do my best.
For one, if you're looking to find out how it started then I'm afraid I just don't really have an answer for that. For one reason or another, something always clicked in my head that inflation was just "awesome". Even when I was younger and watching cartoons and stuff I would always be on the look-out for inflation to happen and looked forward to when those episodes came on if I knew that was coming. Yet I always felt a little awkward with other people in the room if I was watching it.
If you want to know what I actually like about it in the first place...well where do I begin! Most people think curves are nice and so do I. I just happen to like much broader curves. But aside from the shape alone, I like seeing the change in shape and size too. It's quite nice to see someone swelling out and watching their curves grow and become broad and stretched. In some ways, it's also an interesting form of bondage where someone becomes to swollen they can't properly move anymore which comes with some interesting, pillowy shapes around limbs and around the head.
Sometimes I like to call it a fetish for physics as well (realistic or cartoon) because WHAT someone is "inflated" with is just as important as them inflating in the first place. Air will be light, bouncy, and the fur/skin/scales will have a tightness with a drum-like give and hollowness. Water or other liquids will be much heavier and have a much more bottom-heavy shape as the weight pulls down. Thicker liquids get even more interesting with a slower type of movement and sloshiness to it that has a nice appeal to me!
There's also a point of sounds for me. Really I like the different noises an inflated furry can make. Squeaks, groans, moans, sloshes, stretches, hollow drumming, creaking - all of which are pretty sexy to me and I like to think of what some of those things sound like if you were to put your ear on an inflated someone.
This last point though is kind of different between a lot of furs who like inflation - popping or bursting. I personally love it but more or less in a cartoony, less realistic way. I enjoy the climax and the build up to it as well as the reactions of the partner which can be anything from a whiny panic to overwhelming pleasure. All in all I enjoy pressure and shape over size which is probably why I enjoy popping so much. And really it just makes a wonderful metaphor for sex and climax when it's done nicely!

If we're talking IRL, back when me and my boyfriend met for the first time face to face we had a bit of an experience sharing a bed in our motel room. We were both too nervous to get too far with it but he pretended he was simply asleep the whole time. Kind of silly really since I was sitting on top of him and that's not something people sleep through very easily...
None the less it was a very cute and memorable night, even if we didn't actually end up doing it! -
