I had a vaginal birth with both my sons. I plan to do the same with my daughter. The birth didn't really change my body at all. The pregnancies gave me stretch mark and extra skin. It stopped bleeding and hurting within two weeks. I had sex five weeks PP both times and it hurt a little bit, but then went back to normal.
I think you should always aim for a vaginal birth. The recovery is much easier (from what I've heard), plus you won;t have a scar for the rest of your life.

Two boys. I wanted a boy, then a girl.

They are 4 and 18 months

they never really connected. for the past while ive been with a girl and it's getting serious. we're thinking about living together / eventually getting married / maybe having another kid. She treats J like her own & J even asked if she can call her mum> do you think that considering her real mum didnt want her, that it'd be ok if I let her call her mum? im not sure. if not, later on, would jealousy be an issue if we had a baby and he/she caller her Mum but J wasn't allowed to?

I would wait for your girlfriend to legally adopt her. You don't want J to start calling her mum, and then you guys breaking up. She might feel like each of her mums will just leave her. I would keep it on a first name basis for now. Hope that helps! GL
