Yes, I know. I've heard. It makes me panic a bit in the inside when I hear stories like these, and most of all, I feel so sorry for the parents. They will go home to hidden Christmas presents with no child to open them. They bought them with the intent of seeing their son/daughters face light up with excitement at what Santa brought them. They'll go home to a Christmas tree that their kids probably helped decorate, to a home scattered with toys and coloring books, and a small bed that will no longer be slept in.
