Right now I'm still riding the adrenaline wave from seeing Eddie Money at the Wolf Den, so I'm inclined to say that one, but if I was to be really honest with myself it would probably be the FRIGHT NIGHT Halloween Festival with Wolf Pack, HOK, Blaze, and Twiztid...back when PSY was worth listening to.

More often than I like to admit, but then I just remind myself that whatever they have that I don't, comes with it's own set of issues that I'd rather not deal with at this point.
For example. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies, and I often find myself slightly melancholic afterward. The big sweeping romantic gestures tug at my heart so. But then I just remind myself...
Right now, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, however I want because I'm not tied down with a relationship. If I want to cook bacon in the microwave with tin foil, naked, at 3am in the morning. I can, because it's just me in this big old house.
Not to mention the fact that I have no overwhelming NEED to be with someone. Sure, sometimes I get lonely, but really all I need is a friend in that situation. Who says it has to be someone I'm romantically involved with? In fact, it's better if it's not, because then it falls under "Date territor" which has its own expectations attached to it. Most girls aren't going to find getting shitfaced and watching TOP GUN too appealing, but a friend for damn sure will! Just ask my buddy Bill, we did that very thing not too long ago.
It's just the romanticism of it all that gets me I guess. Even then, that's not real. I mean, does anyone really think that FORGETTING SARAH MARSHAL or YOU'VE GOT MAIL are realistic portrayals of how people get together? Hell no.
And in any other situation it's just plain ludicrous for me to wish I was the main character. I mean, they don't just give Super Powers to just anybody. Why would I think that anyone in their right mind would give them to a 26 year old cartoonist/videographer who collects Transformer figures?
