I have heard of ASK.FM and it seems really nice -- and I do not have that yet. I think I'll just stick with formspring for a little while longer. Thanks for following!!

There isn't a specific place I learned to refurbish furniture, nor did I ever take a class (although a class would be nice). It all started when I found an old looking chair that someone was going to throw away... I grabbed it and decided to paint it over. I thought... this is an easy and affordable was to recreate.

As for tips: if you are looking for the right kind of dresser/chair to repaint, make sure to judge the finish. Super glossy can be hard to paint over and usually you have to sand the heck out of it. Stick with solid wood and little finish... pass a sheet of sand paper over it and you should be good. (When your all done... shoot me an e-mail, I'd love to see it and even blog about it.)

Thanks for the question!!! Have fun and good luck!

Honestly, trial and error. I know time is tight for everyone, but if you sit down and mess around with word press for about an hour... you'll figure it out. There are also some great instructional videos on youtube. Good luck!

This is a smart question (You must be a blogger or a potential blogger, who knows)!

Yes, there are several things I did to gain traffic on Simply Elegance (SE). I still would like more readers... but its a process and it takes time!! Lets see...

      1. Twitter: I used twitter to update readers about my new posts, upcoming ideas, and even just to twitter a little bit about myself. You should definitely start "following" people on twitter (even if you don't know them). I know that sounds weird, but I just went to twitter sites that were heavily populated like "design*sponge" or "oh joy" and started adding their followers. Within a couple hours those people started to follow SE Back.

      2. Bloglovin': Basically this works like twitter, but instead of having others view your tweets they view your recent blog posts. Its really awesome. Check mine if you'd like... (http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/1448568/Simply%20Elegance)

      3. Word of Mouth: Just like gossip... things go around fast. Things get around somehow. Start telling others about your blog!

      4. There is so much more you can do and there are a million different social media networks out there!!

I really cant think of a specific person who inspires me. Many people do however! I am really inspired by a person's will to make a difference and to stand up for something, a person with that type of character really gives me goosebumps.

When it comes to blogging... I mentioned that other authors/creators of blogs are really inspiring. For example, one of my favorite blogs "www.ohhellofriend.com"... the creator designed all her graphics by herself. What a talent eh?
Good Question! Hope that answers your question :)

No one helps me... I actually just do them myself. My favorite thing to do when I have extra time is visit some of my favorite blogs! I could do this for hours if I let myself. That is where I get most of my ideas... so I guess other blogs are a big help. After I find something I like then I share them with you!! Besides posting on some of my before and after projects I enjoy posting on other creative things.

Goood question!!! I wish I new...
Plans for my future!? Hummm... I guess I should start thinking about this since I'm graduating within the next year! Honestly, I just want to land a good job, get married ;) , have kids and just live for the Lord. I guess thats my plan!

This is a hard one. Well since I'm a business major I feel like I know about large companies and those are great companies to work for because of the benefits, pay, and the possibility of moving higher up. However, at the same time I would love to start my own business or be a part of a small business but I'm not sure how much opportunity I would get from that. Large Company--Final answer.

Breeanna’s Bio

I love to refurbish furniture. At this time in my life I might not have all the resources (workshop, money, and time) to do so, so blogging is my short-term get-a-way! I started Simply Elegance to write about some of my favorite things! Check it out...
