i'm not sure that i "promote" nine inch nails, per se. trent reznor is the musician that most inspired me to make music. i think that he has an incredible, God-given talent. he obviously does not use it for kingdom purposes, but i believe it's up for individual Jesus-followers to determine (via the Holy Spirit) what is healthy and unhealthy for them to intake when it comes to the secular arts. i don't believe personally that it's always a black and white issue.
