At this point I only have one child, so favourite child would be easier. I don't think I could do favourite songs and I'd have to really think a lot about albums, but 'll pick 6 artists (no particular order)The Beatles, Dylan, Ween, Weezer, REM, Beck.

Man, I'm a folk/pop/rock kinda gal, so I will answer the question to the best of my ability, but if my ignorance shines through, don't scoff at me. I would say metal is loud, fast, angry and often technically difficult music. You know, Megadeth, Metallica, Sepultura etc. Like punk music, the fashion, attitude and image is as much part of the genre as the music itself is. I think a lot of music gets labelled as metal these days that perhaps isn't, but I don't really know and I guess I don't really care, because it's just not my bag. So, I don't know what 'Metalheads - The Genre Wars' is, but.. I'm out.
