      Many fuck Brand New Day, id prefer OMIT to tell its tale. The gauntlet sucks man. Sure it may be a cool read now but weve already seen Spider-man progress cus of JMS and then see the character be raped into going back to basic bullshit. shows that 616 sux

      Since I've not read up to The Gauntlet yet, I can't comment on the quality of the story. However, I dug some of JMS' Spidey, but a lot of the middle left me feeling 'meh'. The Civil War arc was his best, IMHO. The new Spidey is very good, and w/o MJ there's no need to constantly have to refer to her/her whereabouts/her opinions etc etc. IT's a much more flowing Spider-Man story.
