My absolute best experience hands down has to been when I did work with the XNA framework, using C#, in Visual Studio (2008, I thiiiink). It was a joy to work with, so simple to just fire out a quick demo or something as simple as pong to just screw around with. Intellisense practically wrote my code for me with recommendations that bordered on creepy precognizance. It was great! I plan on getting back to that soon, actually.

But my *favorite* language, is probably still good old C++. As a language, it does exactly what I need it to do, and give me the programer just the right amount of trust to get my hands dirty where I need to. You never forget your first love, and C++ will always have a special place in the part of my organ that used to be a heart but has sense become a shriveled travesty ever since that exposure to Objective C.

      Oh, THIS question...

Originally, I would have said that I'd use a Mac hands down. They're just so much simpler to use, whereas PCs (by which I mean Windows) used to be clunky and awkward. Now with the two systems looking more and more alike, and with OSX starting to be more and more exactly like the iOS in terms of functionality and freedom, I find that I'm liking the experience less and less.

I personally use Win7, and it's great. I can do what I want, how I want. I have the *option* to use Snow Leopard, and I tend to prefer not too. Ever since I've cracked open the hood and did some work in XCode, I find the whole thing to be a pit of bad memories that I'd rather not revisit anytime soon. Win7 hasn't burned me yet, so I'll be sticking with it for some time.

I like to stay by the fence of Mac vs PC, as I see the merits of both, but I'm willing to hop either way, and recent decisions made by Jobs have made me wander further away from his side. We'll see what happens!

Nope! Nope! I still get questions and I still give answers, only my personal life has been rather hectic recently, so I'm sorry for keeping everyone waiting. I feel kinda bad about it. As bad as one could be about leaving anonymous yet eager question-askers waiting for weeks on end?

My superhuman power? Well now if I have to pick just ONE of mine to talk about, I would have to say that I have the uncanny ability to, in a forum environment, leave a detailed post to someone and either A) have my very well thought out post be the final one before the page break, guaranteeing it will never be read or B) having my post be the first post after the page break, only I made an egregious spelling/grammar error OR even just forgot to quote the person I'm talking to, so I sound like a crazy person. >_>

Also I can fly, but only when nobody's watching. It's one of the perks of being honorarily Asian.

      Ping!

(the secret behind my sporadic answers is that I don't actually exist in solid form unless I'm directly observed. For the last few weeks I have been a vague cloud of energy and matter, unable to operate a keyboard.)

$20 for a nice piece of work is a reasonable price for someone in my position (that is, poor). When I say that, I mean a color picture, probably 8.5x11" size thereabouts. A quick b/w sketch would be less than/equal to 20, and more elaborate works would cost more (approaching poster size/crazy detail) but I'm not totally sure how much more. I absolutely appreciate my favorite artists in the biz, and while I would love to pay them for a professional custom drawing, I'm not sure I'm always able to pay them what they deserve (more than they usually get by any rate) but I love to whenever I can. Once I strike that oil well in my backyard one of the first things I'll do is send out for commissions ;)

My favorite thing(s) from E3 this year include 1)Halo Anniversary, that's just beautiful 2)The interesting direction Nintendo's going with the WiiU 3)The implied extensive networked multiplayer support that's included with the WiiU, what with the Battlefield 3 and Ghost Recon footage and all that, and finally 4)the opening of Sony's keynote where they did everything but fall to their knees, weeping as they begged for forgiveness because you know they're good for it, man.

I hate to do this, Scott, but my wrong what???

I'm not really sure if I thing there's too many people doing anything! "I thing" is not really grammatically correct, so I'm afraid your question is wayyyy too ambiguous to answer! I'm sure you'll understand. Oh hey, the news is on. Oh wait it's just Cash Cab.

Okay, this is much harder than it would seem to be, as most video game characters would actually probably be awful to hang out with. For example, Master Chief is, as the young people say, "totally boss", but let's be honest, the man is a member of an elite classified military force, he literally doesn't know how to cut loose and party.

So it's hard to think straight up about who your favorite character is and choose that. If I want to hang out with a character, I'd want to have fun doing it GARY OAK I CHOOSE GARY OAK. I'd drive his convertible and we would be a force to be RECKONED with! That is a man who knows how to LIVE! All of the high lifes. All of them. ALL OF THEM.

      Smell you later 8)

My favorite computer? Well, if you include things like robots or AI that makes this an INCREDIBLY difficult question. I'll try and keep this close to as computer as possible, and I'll have to say AUTO from Wall-e is one of my favorites. He straddles the line of all three of those, as while he's semi-mobile and has end-effectors, the guy is more or less contained to the engine room and is consumed with following his basic orders. He's practically just a super round-about UI.

His form and function are top notch for an autopilot villain. He NEEDS to stay the course, he can't CONCEIVE of anything other than following his directive. His Mac-in-Talk voice and HAL eye are simply perfect. Even though he is monotone, when he snaps to and states "ENOUGH", you know he's put up with enough of the captain's shenanigans.

As far as movie villains go, he's not the most visually intimidating, but yet for an intelligent steering wheel he WORKS. An autopilot program successfully
keep humanity imprisoned onboard for roughly 700 years, reducing them to a bloblike state of total dependence. Just think about that.

Nope! I'm on vacation. But I probably read it two weeks ago when you asked me this, so yes, I did then! Can't for the life of me remember what that might have been, so, take that for what you will.

I'm really sorry Scott, but that's simply not a question of randomness! It's a random *exclamation* of randomness! You have to phrase your intentions into interrogative statements for them to be real questions. I recommend starting by replacing that "!" with a "?" and moving from there.

Drawing, gotta be drawing. And I've found a way to get technology into even that, since I have Photoshop and a tablet. Screw you, paper! Ima fold you into BIRDS see how you like it!

To be honest, it's not that I specifically don't answer questions, it's that I forget to. Plus, it's fun to answer them all in huge batches! I tend to get more questions when I do that than if I answer them all as they come, but that's not WHY I wait so long, it's usually just my absentminded fault.

      The other case may be that it's a really, really GOOD question and I'm trying to think of the best conceivable answer, which is what I'm doing on three or four questions right now >_>;;

I pick swallowed whole by a killer whale, as there are in fact statistics supporting being able to survive such an encounter! As far as I'm concerned, at least *one* person in the history of mankind has survived being eaten by a big huge fishwhale, whereas I don't think anyone's survived being nibbled to death, so I'm going to take those odds and run with it.

Well Anonymous Yet Appreciated Question Asker, I really don't think that my future child, son or daughter, would greatly appreciate going through life as "Anonymous Yet Appreciated Question Asker Thresher", especially if they end up being the quiet type that never asks questions, though with my genes I don't see THAT part as being an issue.

Though to be fair that might be a perfectly good middle name, so I'll keep that one on the backburner ;)
