We are not experts in auto air conditioning, however in my experience the problem is either low refrigerant charge, a bad solenoid, bad safety, poor electrical connection or compressor problem. Refrigerant charge is probably the most common. Suggest you contact an auto dealer or auto repair shop.

It is quite common for toys, balls, and pets to find their way into home air duct systems. We recommend that you have the ball removed from the air ducts. In the case of a ball, it can probably be pushed or pulled back to the furnace with a high pressure air hose which is used to clean duct work. The ball would then be removed from the furnace supply or return plenum. The ball is not a hazard unless it gets into the furnace. The ball should be removed. I hope this helps.
