Hmm, the first experience I had with Japanese music was when I was moving back to Maine from Oregon, and my friend gave me a CD with Utada Hikaru's "First Love" on it. =) I listened to it a million times over, but then Yuuchan showed me Morning Musume several years later, and it just sucked me in. ^^;
