My first reaction was "Awww thank youuu" ...then I realised that I'm not sure which ones you're referring to since I don't remember drawing fashionable clothes, unless you mean my fashion-themed sets? o___o
Anyway, when I do need something to draw inspiration from, I turn to Burberry Prorsum, Dolce&Gabbana, Dsquared and Ben Sherman for the boys. For the girls, I like the styles of Red Valentino, Liz Lisa and Marchesa. When I draw suits I usually don't refer but I tend to keep the silhouettes of Dior Homme in mind for certain boys XD
I've saved many, many pics of beautiful clothes for future reference! But I've yet to draw any of them... -
Wow, that was ages ago! I'm amazed that anyone remembers my drawings from my Geass days at all XD. Regrettably, I no longer produce Geass art, but you can find everything I've drawn for it on my Livejournal (runesque.livejournal.com) under the "code geass" tag!
-
Awww, thank you (* v *). I'm aware that my portrayal of 1896 can get way idealised at times, but then I could argue that we know almost nothing about them 10 years later.
You're right; the music I listen to contributes the most to my drawings (other than fashion photography, but I no longer look to that now). My best sources of inspiration for KHR are songs by Pink Martini, Bitter:Sweet, lounge/runway show remixes, Nino Rota's film scores and heist movie soundtrack among others...
...I seem to view this series a bit differently than what it really is. -
............A mixed bag. One female colleague's superstitious father says it's going to be a rough year for Oxen and Dogs.
-
I'm fond of my online friends, but only a few have made it past the fandom friends stage and I treasure them very much.
-
Sadly, no =(. Because it has been 2 years since that project was released and the KHR fandom has declined by now so it's a gamble to reprint.

In my pajamas, before a full-length mirror, with Moves Like Jagger blaring from iTunes and - though it needs not be said - on my own.

You can see a list of my circle's releases as well as their statuses (as in whether they're available or not) on my Wordpress blog at runesque.wordpress.com/offline.
At the moment, we're not selling through online stores so usually people would just send us an email expressing their interest in certain doujins. Thanks for your inquiry! ^^ -
In everything there are certainly pros and cons, but I know that I draw only for own amusement so, even with the benefit of skill enhancement, I won't want to make drawing a profession seeing how in graphic design I often find myself arguing with the client to defend my own preferences. Not good, that.
-
I loved graphic design, but that was before three years of intense coursework in that very area. For that reason, I won't consider drawing manga or illustrating as a career because making a profession out of my hobbies would just make me hate them x__x. I mean, if your hobby's your job then where do you escape? ...Is how I see it anyway.
-
I created that blog when I was in my last year of design school haha! True enough - at that time I was so fed up with graphic design to the extent that I would purposely avoid that section in bookstores, and so "reluctant designer" I was. Four years after graduating (the present), I can finally stomach graphic design again XDD and that's pretty much 80% of my work criteria in the company I currently work for.
At the moment, I can't think of another field that I'd be able to start a career in (within my capacity!) when I'm already juggling marketing and graphic design at my workplace. That might change in the future, who knows? ^^ -
I wouldn't say I like the job per se, but I do feel fortunate to have experienced working at that particular workplace and learning what I've learned because good things have happened ever since I took up this position =)
-
I'm gonna be boring and give my job a 6 XD. It would've been a 5 since it has a lot of tedious moments (perks aside) and because it doesn't present much challenge for me... But since my colleagues are super fun, it gets an extra 1.
-
Somehow, I can't recall that many at the moment. Probably because I only sort of support them in a "nice to look at but won't fangirl that hard" kind of way lol.
Hang on, I'm thinking...
Oh, I know. I dig Doumeki/Watanuki but only when it's PG-rated and somewhat faithful to canon. I don't ship Suzaku/Lelouch as much now but I bought a pretty well-done Suzaku/female!Lelouch doujinshi while in Tokyo and have been entertaining that AU since.
Oh! I also kind of ship Tomomasa from the first generation of "Harukanaru Toki no Naka de" Hachiyou with Fujihime XDD. They give off this Hikaru Genji feel, don't you thiiink? Also, I ship the most hated Ghost Hunt pairing (hint: Their names sound like those of Japan's current emperor and empress!). -
I'm not really into Harry Potter but the Marauders (when they were young) intrigue me.... Okay, then maybe Sirius during Marauders days? =9
-
Ever since I started to ship 1896, I never believed for a second that that pairing is going to happen and that is not what I read the series for. It's just something that I thought would've been nice to see happen if some interactions had been different in the story, though to me they have a good enough foundation in canon to start off. But, as we all know, nothing ever happens so what it is I like about that pairing has always remained a "If only" ideal to me ^^
To be honest, as the manga progresses, I'm losing more and more interest in the canon Hibari and Chrome as they rapidly depart my realistic (as in not pairing-oriented) expectations of them. So I don't look for my pairing in the series. That's what my headcanon is for ^^ -
I do like other pairings in KHR albeit to a lesser extent XD. 6918, Dino/Bianchi, 1818....
