How do producers make their money? Is it like royalties? If you have writing credits + production credits you get paid double?
Good question. Every producer is different but the basic situation for us is getting paid a 'production fee' and also thru royalties and such. Radio spins, record sales.. We don't really get paid for writing a song cuz everything is included in the production fee..
