You'll understand Adrian's character better if you follow the VA series all the way to the end... but I got to the point where I couldn't stand Rose and her selfishness. Bloodlines is definitely my favorite of the two series, because it doesn't have Rose. lol If you wanna skip VA, but wanna know what happens, Wikipedia has a book-by-book synopsis here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire_Academy#Books_in_order

We try to have at least one reveal and one blog tour per week. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less... but we try to keep it interspersed with a decent amount of reviews (This last week, though = fail) and we try to sign up only for tours with books that really interest us. We don't want to be a billboard, but we do want readers to know about indies/self-pubs they may have missed that are, in our opinion, worth their time. :)

Yes. I don't review them, but I do mark them as DNF on Goodreads, I guess just as an FYI to my bookish friends. And I did have at least one DNF this year.

Hmm... I have several, but my favorite, favorite book of the year is The Evolution of Mara Dyer. :D

Yup, yup, yup. Favorites... I have too many. But I'll go with a few that are currently on the air.
- Castle
- Haven
- Sherlock -
Hate them too. They better NOT redo the the Mortal Instruments covers. In my opinion, the guy on the cover of City of Lost Souls is Jace to a "T." They can't take that away from me. Not now.

Mmm... probably going to have to go with Cinder. Cyborgs & spaceships? Heck yes.

It depends... I'm no longer taking review requests, and haven't since last January. But every couple months I'll get a bunch within days of each other. But yes, almost all of those come from people who clearly haven't read my policy . I don't think I wasted time writing my policy though, it's right there for everyone to see and to refer back to, and I can point some of these writers to it if they have any questions.

12:01 am EST. I've got a bunch of international (to the US) readers, so I feel like it doesn't really matter when the post goes live. Tweeting the posts throughout the day I do late morning, mid-afternoon, and about 9pm.

Eh. Maybe. Someday. Maybe not. Right now I'm enjoying being just a reader.
-
Sure. Why not. If I wrote a book, I'd definitely be reading them. Whether or not they should respond is another matter entirely.

The smell of leaves. Sunday afternoons curled up on the couch reading with a football game in the background. Apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Sweaters. Hot cider.
Can you tell it's my favorite season? -
Eh. I don't really have an opinion on this one.
-
Never signed up for it...
-
Nope. I don't think it's fair to do that.

It depends. I do give out a good number of 4 and 5 stars, just because I don't typically take a lot of chances on books I might not enjoy. I try to screen my reads as much as I can, and only read the books I think I may love. Life's too short for "meh" books. I'm not shy about handing out 2's and 3's though when a book just doesn't strike my fancy.
