I'd say there are definitely influences on children to grow up fast in a lot of mainstream media, but you cannot smother them and coddle them forever. There are so many variables here that I cannot give a serious and satisfactory answer, so instead, I will dismiss any intellectual pursuit for mindless "randurm (DERP)" babble:
