I don't know what the best place to get ice cream is around here, but tonight we stopped by Jack in the Box for shakes. I can't wait another month so that I can have one of their pumpkin pie shakes! My favorite!

I'm on a real kick for "Dear Prudence" by the Beatles, especially the "Across the Universe" soundtrack version. The music has a really nice progression, and the lyrics have a soft positivity (not an annoying, overly bubbly, in-your-face "HEY! BE HAPPY!") to them. Puts a smile on my face!
An avid fan of the Beatles, I honestly only KIND OF liked the movie and its music at first...(Come on, Strawberry Fields can ONLY be sung by John Lennon! No one can match his odd vocal qualities, and pretty much no one should try!)
Since I got my new phone a couple months ago, though, I found a new appreciation for the movie's versions of the songs. The clarity of the recordings is SO NICE to jam to, wake up to, and answer calls to. :D -
My fiance for sure would be my person. Besides the obvious reasons, he's a marine. Between his training and my scouting/camping background, I think we'd do okay for ourselves!

Vogue or some other awesome fashion magazine...Magazines are mostly only good for the ads and pictures anyway, so why not go for one that is meant to be only ads and pictures?

I remember this very well. I had an assignment in either first or second grade, and I came across it a couple years ago. The teacher wrote on the board, "When I grow up I want to be a ______ because _______." This is what I wrote, and yes, I quote:
When I grow up I want to be a doctor or rockstar because I can help people, be famous, and maybe get rich.
So, there you have it! (I even pursued becoming a doctor to the extent of going to Baylor University as a biochemistry major in the premed track.) -

I do believe that the supernatural exists, in many different ways. Through experience and faith, I can't deny things like ghosts.

Depression and mental illness in general...I understand that hardship, especially emotional hardship allows us the gifts of humility and sympathy, but such extremes are so destructive I just want to rid them from human experience altogether.

The last time I received flowers was when my fiance proposed to me (April 22nd!) A dozen roses, about 2:45/3 AM. Since I don't require a ring, and we've been together too short a time for him to save up for one he gave the roses to me and then got on his knee. Hugs and kisses were enough. I can't believe I found the one, and it turned out he was a friend from high school!
