Yes. One of the many, many, MANY joys of my children is exactly this. I see so many aspects of both me and their mother in them both.
Personality traits, physical looks, attitudes. It's amazing to see how much they have in common with us both. I actually believe it helps me a lot in dealing with Ethan's autism, because I see some of the behaviours and actions and I can remember being in similar situations, and I can understand what he's trying to achieve... it's very rewarding. -
