E-mail Joe@punknews.org. Though it's all on a volunteer basis, so I can't say if anyone will pick it up. Sorry.

In all honesty, I have tried to fault Brown as little as I can for his violent outburts. He's the product of physical abuse and appears to be quiet emotionally unstable. However, he also hasn't shown any intention to really improve his situation, which is at least in part due to the sycophants that surround him.
See, Chris Brown can still generate money even if he's having violent outburts and ripping off his shirt in public (a lot of money). Chris Brown can't make money if he's taking a year (or two or three or forever) off to really seek help and find balance in his life. As long as he can make money the people surrounding him will keep telling him it's not his fault and keep him functioning and out of legal trouble, as long as they can.
This isn't even speculation on my part, it's exactly what has happened to every other pop star/celebrity with self destructive tendencies. And that's the sad part.

Absolutely, a question isn't defined by its ability to have an answer, but rather by its ability to present an unknown. For example, how many questions have you asked KNOWING that when you ask it, you'll likely not get a sufficient response?
Before the age of the internet, I'd say that a good 30% of the questions I asked my parents never go answered.
Then again, I was dick as a kid.

I think I'd probably get along with the average reader pretty poorly, but that's just because I'm horridly awkward and anti-social. The few (and I mean like 3-4) times someone has randomly recognized me from punknews or I've been introduced as "from Punknews" I mumble something inaudible and the shrug for like 3 minutes. It's nothing personal, I'm just shitty at being a person.

In a larger scale, I'd say most of the readers are probably totally likable people. The few I communicate with online are very nice and tend to be progressive and intelligent folks. I'm sure some of our readers suck but that's going to happen in any large community.
Aziz Ansari said something to the effect of, "Some people are shitty. I guarantee if I met some of you out of the context of you paying me money to tell jokes, I'd hate you." It's just the law of averages. Some people suck.
Thankfully I haven't met most of them.

      Be super punx.
Actually, if we review your record, your band automatically gets a profile generated. Otherwise, if you have a lot of news generated about your band, we can create a profile. But to do so we need:
      1) Band Name
      2) Hometown
      3) official Website (Can be facebook if that's all you got)
      4) A reasonably sized picture (I want to say like 300x600 pixels or something), with photo credit (if applicable).
Also, sending me money and merchandise has never hurt anyone.

The fur gun from "This Book is Full of Spiders (Seriously dude, don't touch it)". It's basically a gun that has no determinable power source that alters the target based on what you're thinking about when you fire it. Think about mashed potatoes, your target becomes mashed potatoes . Think about wizards and your target grows a giant beard and gets a funny hat.

You can either solve world hunger or give everyone in the world wizard hats. Either way, I think we all win.

I wouldn't say it's a lazy way of describing a band's sound. It just helps separates certain pop punk bands from others. I always have a problem where people say they like pop punk and I say I do too. They then tell me their favorite pop punk bands which include stuff like Man Overboard, The Wonder Years, Fireworks, etc and I end up being disappointed because that's not the pop punk I like. I think those bands lean more towards the pop side of pop punk whereas Ramones-core bands lean more towards the punk side of pop punk because those bands obviously are using the pop punk formula that the Ramones made so popular. So, saying I like "Ramonescore" pop punk helps people from making crappy mixes for me.

(I am a complete sucker for "Ramonescore" pop punk)

Being that I am part of a newer generation of punk I don't feel I am completely qualified to answer this question but I do believe the Clash summarize this answer perfectly:

"From every dingy basement on every dingy street,
Every dragging handclap over every dragging beat,
It's just the beat of time, the beat that must go on,
If you've been trying for years we've already heard your song."

Joey Ramone of course. There's so many awesome things about him. The fact that he was in a glam rock band (just like Mick Jones!) prior to the Ramones under the name Jeff Starship, wrote the great song "The KKK Took My Baby Away" because Johnny stole his girlfriend, made a badass cover of Louis Armstrongs "What a Wonderful World", and made awkwardly tall cool with a leather jacket and sunglasses.

Yes. People do that all the time. My boyfriend bought 2 copies of the first pressing of Latterman's No Matter Where We Go just to be a snob. I've also seen Into It. Over It.'s Evan Weiss complain about reissues of records because it makes the original pressing less valuable. I'm not too sure how vinyl nerds brains work. There are people who need to have first pressings or every single color of certain releases. I've watched it in my boyfriend as he scoured websites and record stores for every Shook Ones release. I think it's some weird compulsive need to have a complete collection. Also, the value of one's collection is super important to collectors.

I honestly just want the prettiest color whatever record I'm ordering is available in. I'll settle for black though.

Elton John, for sure. I know nothing about him except that he's richer than fucking god and his partner is making (made?) a movie called "Pride and Predator" which is like "Pride and Prejudice" but with alien invaders. Also he has a Donald Duck costume.

I really don't know what Ben's "persona versus real life" situation is. I can say, I've spoken to a lot of people who have worked with and run into him and the stories are almost always unpleasant. The problem is that he's just popular enough that he can always surround himself with fans and yes men (if he so chooses). Anytime I've seen this situation it never ends well.

Has he put out an album yet? Like honestly, I know he's had videos but has he had a real album?

I think it's pretty refreshing. "Floral Green" by Title Fight is another example, which I think is a fantastic record. Sometimes it's a bit harder to swallow if a band is going in a more poppy direction (The tendency tends to be that they've "sold out"). But for bands who seem to go a new route for no other reason than it's where they are now as musicians, I think it's brave and entertaining. I don't always LOVE the result but I'd rather have bands always challenging themselves than putting out the same album over and over again.

No. For one movie theaters tell you time and time again, they don't make money off of the movies but off of the overpriced snack shack. So, hit it up on your way out and buy $3 of redvines. Two, most movies are totally pieces of shit. Do I care if my $10 doesn't put The Avengers over the $2billion mark? Nope.
Also, pilfered goods are always better.

I for one do not think Big Audio Dynamite are terrible but you probably do because they are a completely different band from The Clash. Mick used Big Audio Dynamite to explore all the different genres and sounds that he couldn't do with The Clash. Mainly because Bernie wanted control of the band and, oh yeah, that part where he got kicked out. Tell me you don't listen to "Rush" and don't think it's catchy as hell? "The Globe" is also a lot of fun because it has that little scream at the beginning of "Should I Stay or Should I Go". OH! And there's that really cool video for "Medicine Show" where Joe Strummer and Paul Simonon are cops. Johnny Rotten is in that video somewhere too. AND Joe co-produced 'No. 10, Upping St.'.

Yeah, man. I have no idea how you don't like BAD. They were awesome.
