I haven't read the longer extract of Pizarnik's article, only the short excerpt that I reblogged. While talk of "ecstatic transcendence" seems to me more characteristic of a bipolar rather than a melancholic state, I'll defer to your understanding, as you've read the article and I haven't. As I said in my original reblog, I thought the excerpt that had been posted was well written and interesting, so just maybe, I'll motivate myself enough to read the entire piece. To which pics do you refer? I try to post photographer, title and date along with the photograph, when I can find that information. If I reblog, then I don't necessarily have the data, and even for my own posts, sometimes I have to do without. What can I tell ya?

Man, I don't think I've ever had anyone ask me to delete an image from my spam-fest before, and especially for the reason of trying to protect the delicate sensibilities of a younger sibling (not to mention a personal reputation). I'll have to think about this for a moment, although I bet by now, the sister has already been polluted by an image of you puffing away. Oh, alright...I'm not making any promises but I'll try to rouse my lazy ass and censor myself, in the name of protecting the youngsters among us.
