Best: Gekiranger and Shinkenger

Worst: Goseiger and Go-Onger

Gekiranger was some of the best and most varied hand-to-hand scenes plus the characters were endearing and emotionally charged. Same with Shinkenger, except with swords.

Goseiger was ASSSSSSS. Nothing grabbed me or made me care and the characters were boring. Same with Go-Onger, plus it was way too cartoony for my tastes.

Shattered Angels is much top dog as far as being shit, but Taruto and Steel Angel Kurumi are especially vomit-worthy as well.

Well for Tomino, it was to make a show in which the robots were simply war machines, and to tell a coming-of-age story for Amuro. It ended up having a lot more depth than anyone was expecting and made people reconsider how they looked at robot shows. Its also vaguely an allegory for WWII.

For Bandai, the point is, and will always be, to sell Model kits.

Uh, I just watched it. I watched the movies first, to be fair, then watched the full series later on. It didn't faze me considering some of the crap I watch already.

Not really, because the Federation can proper fuck off as far as I'm concerned. The point the a lot of the series is trying to make is that entrenched military establishments tend to be full of idiots who don't understand how things work on the ground.
