Friend, what I really wish I could do is bring you out to a show and get you shaking hands with some people. (If you're Boston-local, I will!)
One thing that might help you out is to remember that the people at shows have something in common with you - they like music. It's like going to a football game, but for metalheads - people getting together on account of a shared interest, which serves as social lubricant. You can turn to anyone at a show and say, "Hey, how about that opening act?" or "Did you see their last tour?" just as a football fan could turn to a stranger and say, "How 'bout them Dolphins?"
This is true of girls, too! If a girl is smiling at you, it's totally an invitation to go say hello - she might be disappointed if you don't. Just smile back and wander over, nobody will give you shit for making smalltalk.
Best of luck and please reach out if you want to talk! XO Emily Bleak -
Blow-drying my hair, it takes forever and it only turns out right about 50% of the time. Then I get to spend even more time fixing whatever stupid thing I made my hair do.
This only counts if the question actually means that my hair comes out pre-blowdried and perfect, because HELL NAW I am not going out with flat air-dried hair. -
OH GOD A POOL. Oceans have horrid things living in them that will eat me (or just nibble on my toes). I read too much Lovecraft too young. :(

I still have a pair of mid-calf steeltoe combat boots from Gripfast that my mom bought for me in 7th grade. They are perfectly broken-in and so, so comfortable.
