      Hello Christine. Your blogs are fantastic! I would love to know your viewpoint on women serving on board ship with the men. You have often written about the navy wives and what they are like, but I am curious to know how you feel about the other ones.

      My fiancee is leaving for Navy basic training in 5 months, we plan on getting married when he is finished with school. I am frightened and his recruiters are not giving me much info on the steps i may take to have smooth sailing once we are married. Any a

      Prepare to never know much of anything with his job. Just roll with the punches. My husband and I married before he joined, so as far advice, I don't have much.

      I believe so, and it changes with every new command.

      I don't have a question. I just wanted to say thank you for your blog. Reading it has helped me a great deal. I'm new to the Hampton area and my husband is deployed leaving myself and 2 children quite alone. I feel better now, after reading your blog.

      Do you have children? I have 2 from a previous marriage and I'm nervous about moving to a new state with a new lifestyle and not being able to make friends because I am always tied down being a mom and wife.

      Sorry I'm just now commenting. When you sent your question, I had just went through a miscarriage and couldn't answer your question. But to answer your question, no, I unfortunately do not have any children. I hope to one day! :)
