Personally I like to dress up nice to symphonys and then I'll wear cool Zelda accessories. Instead of wearing a costume, I do a Zelda inspired look. :)

I think It's okay if people wear costumes. Its still is odd to me tho and im getting used to it because I always know that youre supposed to dress your best all fancy and nice to symphonys or operas and such. But at a zelda symphony Everyone there is going to show their pride for Zelda one way or another and that's cool :)

We are still friends. They stopped cosplaying years ago. They also live in SoCal and I in NorCal.

We made my own rings by spinning the wire over a metal rod while it turned using our lathe machine. But The ring lord .com is where I got my scales from.

No, she wasn't a character I was into as much to make something of.

The armor is made completely out of fiberglass that was put on me to get the nice tight fit. Then it was sanded down. I'm remaking it tho, since my old is meh and my skills with armor have gotten a lot better.

Because when I was testing around with some aluminums, it didn't create the 'sound' I was wanting. Steel did, even though its so much heavier than aluminum but for wearing chainmail for so many years, I'm getting pretty used to it's weight and it gives the costume a nice feel overall.
