Not sure if I'm qualified to answer this. I don't specifically know enough directors to really pick a favorite. I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fan (I can safely say I've seen everything he's directed at least twice), Edgard Wright is delightful (and early enough in his career where there's nothing but potential ahead) David Fincher is generally aight with me (ignoring Benjamin Button) and Don Bluth had a few really solid years back in the good ol' days. (Secret of Nimh, All Dogs Go to Heaven and the original Land Before Time)

I watched about a third and got terribly upset and had to stop. I do like John Waters, but I have a week constitution when it comes to things that are actually *disturbing*.

Don Hertzfeldt actually isn't the sole creator of the Animation Show (though he has made intro and intermission pieces). It was co-founded by him and Mike Judge and it showcases the work of many amazing animators. It's been going on for sometime, so it's hard to say which is "best". As far as the work of Don Hertzfeldt in general (e.g. Rejected, Billy's Balloon) I'm not sure whether to call it buffoonery or brilliance. Alls I know is that I laugh a lot when I watch them. :)

I think it turned out that Pluto was just a liar and was pretending to be a planet to be cool. What we should really be doing is focusing our efforts on collecting all the world's used aluminum foil to create a replacement. We will call it Planet Shiny. I estimate it can be done by 2015 if we get to work right now!

That would probably be Red Bamboo (vegan asian/soul food fusion- WHAT. They're in Manhattan and BK). But bear in mind that I'm not much of a foodie and this would mean that after the 5 years, I would never eat there again. It is possible to have too much of a good thing.

Surround yourself with people you love and who inspire you to better yourself. Find your passion and follow it to the ends of the earth. Don't let the bad thoughts overpower you. Take joy in the little things ever day. Don't ever underestimate the significance of sitting on the couch drinking hot cocoa and watching cartoons with a friend. Know that a day you spent laughing was not wasted.
