There were never any substantial plans beyond doing the live translation stream back in December, partly because I'm not familiar enough with the game (read: I haven't beaten it) to comfortably do work on a proper translation patch and partly because of general life business as a graduating student. I should get around to throwing up the Mizzurna Falls stream archive soon on YouTube so it's there for posterity, but beyond that, I wouldn't be holding your breath. Sorry.

Also, this probably isn't the best way to get in touch with me anymore. You can either reach me at my Giant Bomb page via PM (http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/pepsiman) or through my Tumblr (http://pepsimangb.tumblr.com), which allows anonymous questions so you don't have to register if you don't already have one. You got lucky with me today, but I don't otherwise make a habit of checking this account these days.

If my memory isn't entirely fuzzy, I'm named after one of them, yes.

My genes let me have both! Straight up top and curly at the bottom! Thanks super curly Dad and super straight (har har) Mom!

It should be very obvious by now that I have more than crush on Chie Satonaka.

    6. Your own identity is a fairly relative thing, no?

Nah. It feels nice on some level to be recognized, but it's not something I'm otherwise actively pursuing. Then again, it seems I've attracted a consistent level of infamy since my high school days that extends to people I don't know, so perhaps I can't be a beggar and a chooser in this instance.

I have an LG Optimus Elite, I believe is what it's called. I really like as a first smartphone and the hardware is nice and snappy despite the pretty cheap price point. I'm really happy with it.

    10. Your own identity is a fairly relative thing, no?

Preordered it back in February with release day shipping. I already invested something like $40 into the arcade version back in Japan, so I was in it deep to begin with. Very likely will have a review up within a week or so of its release. My pride as the one with best-rated user review of Persona 4 is on the line or something.

I took pride in not needing to own one as a Japanese resident. Nah.

They're not too much trouble compared to kanji done in proper accordance with calligraphy rules. In general, it does take a bit of an adjustment with reading kanji in that way since you sometimes have to actually just rely on stroke order rules to figure things out when they're really dense, but as you surmise, it's something that gets better the more familiar you are with the language.

Yes, when are we getting that Pokemon Conquest Quick Look?

      日本語能力試験のレベルN1に合格できるとよく言われているほどの能力を持っています。たとえ50パーセントを取られなくて試験に落ちても、卒業後日本で就職しようと思っているので、能力がただの外人より上手でしょうね。

If I just say a for all of them, not only will I get at least one of the answers right by sheer guesswork, but I'll also be commenting on how the world should be.

    17. Your own identity is a fairly relative thing, no?

Usually only happens when I've just gotten into a foreign country and my body and mind are still adjusting to it. I remember quickly enough where I am, but it's still a strange feeling to feel alarmed despite being where I'm supposed to be when I wake up in those sorts of situations.

    18. Your own identity is a fairly relative thing, no?

My toothbrush. The ones that play pop stuff like Justin Beaver in your mouth are already in dangerous territory and I'd prefer to not see them go any further.

    19. Your own identity is a fairly relative thing, no?

Hard to say. I feel like in terms of tastes and what's in my personal collection, I'm as obtusely well-rounded as Jeff, but the games that actually resonate with me personally tend not to be heavily covered on the site (Persona 4 being an enormous exception, naturally), so I find the comparisons beyond that a bit hard to draw. If nothing else, when I find myself disagreeing with somebody on the staff, I usually get the perspective from which they're coming and respect that.

No idea. Honestly never paid too much attention to that series in its heyday. Ask somebody on the smoldering remains of Anime Vice?
