Would you allow an RFID (radio-frequency identification) chip to be placed under your skin to keep all your personal info and track you if it supposedly makes purchasing things easier? What about if it was mandatory? Do you trust this technology?

I think something like this should be mandatory for violent criminals, but aside from that, I'm not fond of the idea. Why can't they put the chip in a card, or a persons drivers license. I would be highly suspicious of any government that wanted to embed these things under the skin of their countries citizens.
Personally, they remind me of a high tech version of those concentration camp tattoos.
