I came to Korea by accident, fell in love with the country (and with a wonderful woman) and decided to stay. I've had a fulfilling decade living here in Korea.

As for Japan or Dubai? I lived in Japan for two years and had a lovely time. I'd be happy to go back again for a holiday, but I don't have any great desire to live there again.

Dubai has no appeal. No appeal at all. Korean summers are bad enough... there's no way I'll be choosing to live closer to the equator, let alone in the desert. Plus there's the small issue of human rights and how Dubai treats its citizens.
