You are quite the health nut. If you had to give up exercising or eating healthy, which would it be?

That's a very difficult question. Exercising vigorously on a poor diet can be very bad for you. You're taking your body to it's limits on poor fuel, causing a lot of stress. Your body would also not have the adequate nutrition to rebuild once it has been torn down after a workout. On the flip-side, eating a healthy diet without exercise is not too beneficial itself. Not only is it more difficult to keep a strict diet when you're not using your body to see the results/consequences of what you eat, but being sedentary is extremely troubling for the body as well. I do think though, that more damage would be done to the body by exercising vigorously on a very poor diet then being sedentary with a good diet. I enjoy exercising more than I do eating healthy, but If I HAD to give up one I suppose it would be exercise. Even saying that makes me feel sick though. ***Edit*** I was thinking about this question last night as I was drifting to sleep. I changed my mind. I'd rather have a bad diet and still have exercise. I would just feel absolutely useless if I couldn't work my body regularly. The thought alone makes me feel weak and gross.

Why doesn't Oscar have a Facebook?

I don't want to exploit him.

Do you like getting kicked out of pizza joints in steamboat springs?

Racial discrimination. I think I can pass for Italian.

where would your ultimate dream vacation be? :]

I'm not completely sure. For some reason I've never had a strong urge to travel out of the country, so my dream vacation probably wouldn't be overly exotic. My favorite place to visit is Hawai'i, but recently I've also had a longing to see Seattle and New York City; both of which I have never been to. I'd also really like to go back to Washington D.C. and Virginia. I've been to that area once when I was a child and I loved it.

What is your ultimate goal with your music?

My goals for my music have changed and continue to change regularly. I don't really know what they are right now. To be honest, I don't think it really matters to me anymore. I'm starting to look at music as more of a fun pas-time than something to be taken very seriously. That's what music was intended to be from the beginning. A fun hobby. When you really think about it, it's very strange and funny how we have all come to idolize and idealize people who are musicians. Their music can speak to us and make us feel like we're not alone in our feelings, but can't we get that from just talking to people and sharing out feelings with them face to face? Yes, we can, but when we do that we don't become infatuated with that person like we do some musicians. I just question, regularly, how important music really is to me so that I can be as close to sure as possible about what I'm focusing most of my energy on.

what is/are your favorite color(s)? and why?

I think my favorite color is green. I also like brown, blue and purple. I'm not really sure why. I guess those colors just make me feel right. It's difficult to explain and I guess I've never really thought about WHY they're my favorite colors. I guess brown is in that list because I love chocolate and it reminds me of it. But, I think green is number one for me. My current car is green and so is the carpet in my room. I've even had a purple car before too! 8)

Hi it's me again. When I heard you sing for the first time, I thought you would enjoy Tallest Man on Earth. Maybe it's just me... if you still haven't heard him, here you go http://pitchfork.com/tv/#/episode/2589-the-tallest-man-on-earth/1

I checked him out after your first question. I couldn't really get into his music too much. Maybe I would just have to listen to him more. :P

If you HAD to pick between blind or deaf, which would you choose and why?

Wow, what a frightening question... It makes me sad to even think about it! I think being blind is a lot worse than being def. There are a lot of reasons why I think so. Too long to list. :)

    Gummy bears or Gummy worms?

    Neither. I don't eat junk food! 8)

If you could be any cartoon character, who would you be and why?

Great question! Haha! I think I would be either Speed Racer or Gumby.

Speed Racer was so brave and exciting. He was so determined and passionate about what he loved (racing and family). He was always ready to protect what was important to him no matter what and he was very intelligent. As a child he was just amazing to me and I always looked up to him.

Gumby, he was just such a loving character. He was so innocent and playful and he always wanted the very best for everyone. Even his enemies (the Blockheads). He really embodied what we should all strive to be... Caring, loving, playful, smart, adventurous, kind and dedicated.

If you were on death row and had to order your final meal...what would it be? (no limits)

Wow, that's a tough one... I'd probably choose something that reminded me very much of my childhood. Probably a meal from my favorite Mexican restaurant that I used to eat at so often as a kid. It's called Gonzalo's (also known as "G-n-R"). It's in downtown El Paso. I'd probably order the number one (2 red cheese enchiladas with onions, one beef taco and rice and refried beans). I never eat like this anymore so I'm sure it would be a welcome treat to my pallet and since I'd be put to death shortly after it I guess it wouldn't do much harm to my health, would it? Haha. :)

Patrick Kell. What inspires you? ...... >:)

Musically, nothing. None of my songs have really come from any type of inspiration that I know of. I just wrote the songs and that was that. But, what inspires me in life... To do my best... Now that's a different thing all together. I love to see other people be the best at what they do. Be it a sport, music, acting, business... Anything. When I see other people excelling at what they love, now THAT inspires me. It makes me feel like anything is possible.

    Do you like Capicola?

I've never had it, but I don't eat pork so I'll most likely never try it.

  20. Patrick Kell

why are you so obsessed with that brittney devine girl?

My obsession with Brittney Devine is complicated. She's intriguing and wonderful, yet boring and sometimes dull. She's a paradox, really. I don't think I'd be who I am today without her. I don't think I'd BE without her...
