I used to always say night person, but the more I think about it, the more I'm like... Nope, I'm an all-day, keep going as long as you can person. I can get up at 4am and be happy and bubbly and super productive as much as I can stay up until 4am adventuring the night away.

Maybe southern France, but I think I'd miss family and friends too much. I'd be happy anywhere close to a decent sized city with my husband and my dog(s). If I have kids, hopefully they'll have moved out by the time I'm retired.

I'd like to travel a lot once I retire. France and Spain again, but also New Zealand, Japan, Italy, the Caribbean, a whole bunch more. I dream big. :)

I'm taking this to mean "within the last year," and I'm choosing more than one thing, so...

-Not breaking up with my ex sooner.
-The entire month of June actually happening.
      -Breaking my phone's screen twice.
-Not spending my 18th birthday at hone.
-Not packing well enough for move-out.

I try not to live with regrets and I'm happy with how my life has turned out so far, but if I could change those thing, I would.

I'm in a committed relationship and I'm very very very extremely unconditionally happy. So, hopefully that answers the question. :)

Depends on who I'm cooking for and whether or not I've been blessed with magnificent cooking skills. (I'm a decent cook, right now.) I'm gonna say unlimited cooking skills are provided.

If I'm cooking for me, I'd make prime rib. Well, cook it, since it's already made. Also mashed potatoes. For the boyfriend, I'd make a crazy awesome sushi variety platter complete with real wasabi. For my best friend, actually she'd like sushi too but for the sake of variety, I'd make her burritos. I'd make low-carb pasta and a salad with an awesome vinaigrette for my mom, and I'd discover the secret to making Lou Malnati's pizza for Joanna, my sister. I would probably invent something crazy with beef and cheese and radishes for my dad. I'd really like to combine all of these things and have a crazy awesome group dinner. Yeah.

Misread the question and thought it said "been given." that would definitely be my record player from my amazing boyfriend. I'm not sure what the best I have ever given was. I like to give sentimental gifts or really personal ones... I guess I would go with the most recent, that being a personalized copy of The Missing Piece for my boyfriend. (I changed some of it via sticky notes... Yeah...) Does that count?

In a sense. I don't believe in coincidence. Everything happens for a reason.

Camping in Australia, followed by a tour of New Zealand, followed by some time exploring Japan. And I'm bringing my favorite people with me.

If I knew that then how much of a secret could it really be? But my best guess is this: do what you want to do because you want to do it (within some level of reason... if you really want to murder someone, I wouldn't recommend following through). Don't let others walk all over you. Don't get roped into doing things because you feel bad or because you think someone else wants you to. Not that doing nice things for others is bad, but if that person isn't someone you want to do nice things for, you won't probably enjoy it. Enjoy the little things, too. That's important. Catch a firefly, put cinnamon and sugar on a piece of toast, let yourself laugh out loud when most people would stifle it. Admit to your quirks instead of trying to hide them. Make as many (or as few) friends as you like. Fall in love if you want, but don't let that be the driving factor in your life, and don't fall apart if it doesn't work out. Drink coffee if you like it (and I like it) or another hot beverage of choice. Play on playgrounds (I recommend the swings). Try everything (as long as it won't kill/hurt you too much). Dream about the future but don't focus on it too much. In the same fashion, remember the past but don't dwell on it. Live in the present and enjoy that you are who you are, where you are, when you are. Don't try too hard, although there's nothing wrong with hard work. In fact a little hard work will make you feel accomplished. Know what you want, but be flexible and open to new ideas. Find the music you love most and listen to it often, constantly if you prefer. The secret to happiness really doesn't seem that difficult after all- just live and enjoy it for what it is.

Norah’s Bio

I spell theatre the old-school way. No clue why, I just do it. I like good music and good friends and my favorite color is orange... but I hate oranges (the fruit).
