Chicago has its rough places, but what major city doesn't? The downtown is very safe, and that's where most of the parks, beautiful architecture, and the Lake are.

Come for a visit. I love giving tours of my city, and I'll introduce you to all the cool people, as well! Ask anyone who's visited over the past few months, they'll all tell you it's worth it :)

It is, architecturally, the most beautiful city in America. Great public spaces, all along the lake shore. Parks. Sense of community (that it totally lacking in LA). Festivals - music, food, and other.

Have you ever been? I moved here almost sight-unseen. Quite happy with the decision :)

Unfortunately, no. I've learned that there are lots of gorgeous women, all over the world. Being beautiful isn't all that unique. Plus, it fades quickly. Either absolutely, or subjective, because you get used to it and take it for granted. No, personality seems to be the real limiting factor.

I'm partial to a particularly awful combination of bitchy, aloof, and self-obsessed.
