www.a-m-v.org has tons of tutorials on resizing clips...but it is usually a bad idea to resize clips passed their original size. If your clips are 720p then just keep them at that size and don't mess with them. You can only make clips that are already 1080p, look good at 1080p.

Being an amv creator and fan, I can definitely say that I have no favorite amv. I can however, tell you that quite a few amvs make the genre. The best naruto amv, for instance, is whisper of the beast. Without that AMV, most naruto editors wouldn't be around today, inspired and editing. My favorite mep, however, is the vortex recycled mep. It features amazing editing techniques that most editors can be inspired from, or learn from.

Personally, i dislike using one effect too many times. All effects have their own individual uses, so all my amvs use different effects in different ways.
