We've made the presets light enough so that they works in all kinds of lighting situations.

Workshops can definitely be helpful, but make sure you choose one that suits you. There are lots of different options out there. Get information beforehand so that you're sure what you want to focus on will be covered.
We recommend doing a two-on-one with us.

We use MacBook Pros. That works for us and our work situation right now.

sRGB all the way. And yes, the separate curves in LR4 are very useful.

Save the photos in JPEG with the right pixel size for your site and you should be fine.

No one really asked us to second shoot for them...

No idea how long it took. A couple of hours maybe, after figuring the software out. We ordered a sample album and got a 50 % discount.

They expect to get what they see in our portfolio. There are no ring shots in our portfolio. Problem solved.

We don't. But if someone would request that, we'd of course do it.

Our screens match the albums perfectly, so we haven't bothered using the calibrator we have.

It's far from ideal, but they'll just have to find a computer to view it on. Hopefully the ShowIt people will get a iPad/iPhone compatible slideshow solution going soon.

Not really. Most of our clients give us total freedom to do our thing.

Do we use nik products? Not much.

Save for web in PS at around 100-150 kb or so, and upload to WP. That's it.
If file size is an issue, you could try JPEGmini (http://www.jpegmini.com). We don't use it, but it's supposed to make the files even smaller. -
We've got 3 full frame bodies and one DX. If we need more, we'll rent another FX body.
