Well, the one I got was the ELF Bright Eyes Edition Beauty Book & so far, I can say that everything except one eyeshadow in that book is amazingly pigmented.
The one exception that I was talking about is the white shimmery e/s in the book. (the shadow seems very sparkly & the glitter is very chunky so it doesn't apply as good) But the rest are PERFECT! & totally affordable, so if you have the chance to get it, go grab it :) -
I doubt that Mode-5 and Yesstyle are affiliated in anyway. :) Anyways, thank you sooooo much! I'm glad you like my fashion posts on the site! I'll try to blog for often for you guys. Again, thank you! It means a lot :)
-
Sure thing :D I'll do just that on my next post in the mode-5 site ^___^ Thank you for the request & idea!

I totally would, love but unfortunately I have short hair so it won't really look like her hair. Um, maybe I can use my little sister as a model. Hahah! I'll let you know :)
Thanks for the request! I'll do my best! -

For Fall 2010, I really see Harem pants going more in style. Also, boyfriend blazers are still a nice touch for this coming season. However, it doesn't really matter what's the trend right now, you don't necessarily have to follow it as it changes every season. Only you, yourself can decide & set your own style to fit your lifestyle & set your own individuality. So if you feel like a floral skirt is what you want to wear tomorrow, then go for it, girl :)
But just 1 helpful tip, you can always reuse the clothes you used last season, it's just how you wear them that will set you apart.
Try wearing darker shades this fall, like black, navy, brown, red, etc and you can always pair a solid color with a printed top or bottom/ vice versa :D
Hope this helps! Good luck in school! I'm sure you'll look gorgeous with anything you chose to wear! -
Um, I'm not too sure, maybe through google or youtube? or they just stumble across my blog. I'm really not the right person to ask this question hehe! sorry
-
Umm, I'm currently in a community college finishing the fashion program, then I'll be going to another fashion school in LA (FIDM) I know a lot of schooling eh? hehe! and after graduation, I'd love to work in a famous fashion magazine as a fashion editor or work as a buyer for a high end retailer.

As for hiring, I can ask my boss because I am in no place to say if we do or don't.
Also, what do you mean about "I have a lot of samples I can send"? Please elaborate a bit because I didn't quite get that part hehe :) -
Sometimes I would email them but most of the time I would be contacted by their PR person.
Not all companies are the same, but I can honestly say that most companies do look for quantity & quality. Meaning, what your blog looks like, what kind of blog is it, what kind of blogger your are, etc and most importantly, how many followers you have. You have to have a sufficient amount of followers to be able to attract companies to sponsor you. However, I'm not saying that all companies look for the same stuff because like I previously said, companies may vary when it comes to selecting who & what they want to sponsor, etc.
Nonetheless, whether you get sponsored or not, always make sure that you give your readers a 100% of your honest opinions because without your readers your blog would not be as successful.
Anyways, hope this helps :) Good luck with your blog! -
Actually, I have reviewed a few international cosmetic brands such as Sleek (UK), BYS, Heidi Yi (Australia), Etude (Korea) as well as a lot of American brand cosmetics such as Yagolicious, Smashbox, Glamour Doll, Hard Candy, etc. It's all in my blog. feel free to check it out if you would like to

Hope this is helpful & thank you so much for the support, I really appreciate it <3 -
Yes, occassionally! I've actually done a review on a dress (it's posted both on the mode-5 site & my personal blog) Also, I'll be posting a review on a couple of their printed tights soon. It'll be up via Youtube & my blog. :]

I'd say NX Round Lipstick in Circe. NYX lipsticks are very moisturizing & very very affordable. It's not more than $2 at Cherryculture.com Which is another reason why I love that site.
I have about 30 NYX Round Lipsticks & I must say, Circe is one of my faves. Not only is it a nice nude lipstick but you can also use it as a lip concealer if you have pigmented lips. It's also great for toning down your super bright lip colors for a nice subtle finish. :) -
Yes, teasing is bad! But what I do is I actually tease it with a brush rather than a comb. The damage is less but still a damage regadless. However, if you want to use a rat tail comb to make it a better "tease" then you can.
There's really no "better" way of teasing your hair and prevent it from damaging all at the same time. Teasing hair is actually bad, but if you minimize the amount you tease, it should be good. Also, try using a good shampoo & conditioner that will help you restore your hair to it's good condition.
Also, if you're teasing your hair to create a volumized hair, try alternatives like maybe sleeping with your hair damp & waking up the next morning with a super "volumized hair" or, use a hair dryer to vamp up your crown area, for more volume? (make sure to use a heat protectant spray for your hair) ^-^
