Absolutely. There have been several games for which we tried recording LPs, but because of the limits of technology and a lack of expertise, getting video and audio to sync up properly can be difficult. Notice that even in our LP for Record of Agarest War, there is a slight delay on the audio because the two are recorded separately and put together by hand.
We will continue to experiment with different recording methods, and hopefully be able to do LPs more efficiently in the future.

We saw your forum post, and understand how to use search engines. The answer is a resolute, "No way."

Yes, and very soon! Some gaming platforms, like the Kinect, are really visually-oriented, and we will make videos for those game reviews.
Dance Central is the first on our list, but as Sen is currently injured, we're waiting to be able to play that.

Yes; it used to go over great when we were on WLRA. We've had guest appearances from an arcade machine expert and a nostalgic video game obsessive (who has her own blog: thatgirlwiththescarf.blogspot.com). We also interviewed a couple of the great minds behind the Galloping Ghost Arcade. And I could never forget the massive amount of calls the station got during my first To Kill a DJ marathon, when we asked for people to tell us their zombie plans!

We figured someone would ask this, and made an "About Us" page on our home site: http://radiopixiefox.net/about/
Pixie is in college, and took a few courses in radio. During this time she decided she'd like to talk more on air and play less music, so she turned to her interests - nerdy things! Talking to herself for three hours was difficult and, frankly, rather boring, so she roped her best friend Sen into coming to the studio with her. The two of us made such a great dynamic that the show continued for what has spanned nearly two years! We're very happy to be doing this, and Pixie works for hours every week making sure the show is as fun for you to listen to as it is for her to perform.

This is the place to ask the Nerd Talk hosts whatever you'd like to know about our show, our interests, or other random stuff. Pixie will be the one doing the upkeep, but if you'd like to ask Sen something, say so within your question and he'll answer it.
